The Level 3 Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) at Bodmin College allows students to embark on largely self-directed projects in a subject area in which they are interested. It provides a context for developing critical thinking and project management skills. These are widely transferable and may be useful in other courses now or in the future. The skills you develop as part of the EPQ will provide you with a solid foundation in study and research skills. These skills will benefit you in your university studies if you choose to go on to further education, and also in future employment.
To study this subject you will need to be highly motivated and able to work independently. You will demonstrate strong organisational skills as well as the ability to meet deadlines. A good base of GCSE passes will be an advantage, particularly in English.
