Perspectives on Science
The Perspectives on Science Extended Project (EP) at Bodmin College provides a great opportunity to enrich any student’s experience at Bodmin. You do not need to be studying science at A Level, but you should enjoy discussing, debating, researching and thinking! Universities (including the Russell group) are keen that students have had opportunities like the EP, because it is felt that they provide a realistic representation of how students at university are frequently required to work. A good grade in this course helps tremendously when applying to university. More importantly it tends to be a course that students enjoy and is a great preparation for life at university and work.
Anybody who has been accepted onto the Sixth Form at Bodmin can do this course; whatever subjects they are studying. Good self-study skills and a high level of organisation are essential, as well as an ability to meet deadlines.
