Btec Level 3

The Sport BTEC Level 3 Diploma at Bodmin College contains a wide range of leadership, teaching, coaching and performance units, making an exciting course that will appeal to sports students who prefer coursework as their form of assessment. The course, which is a double award completed over two years, is broadly equivalent to two A Levels and is designed to provide a platform for those wishing to pursue a career in the PE, sport or leisure industry. The course is viewed as having equal status to the traditional A Level PE, and a number of past students have pursued university courses, including PE teaching, sports development and coaching.

The 120-credit BTEC Level 3 Diploma course is delivered through thirteen units across the two years. The units will be assessed via a range of media including written assignments, new technologies, and practical assessments.
